Paul’s Fiesta Wreck
Well, I don’t know if you want to put this on your site but this is my Fiesta story!!!!!!
Early one morning I was travelling up the sliproad onto the motorway near where I live. It was dull and raining HARD!!!!!
I was coming up behind the other cars at about 45mph when a brand new Mondeo overshot the lane and slammed on his brakes, the Renault 5 Turbo behind him slammed on their brakes, as did I. Unfortunately for me, I had a sticky rear brake shoe which caused the car to twist sideways, thus locking the front wheel and ramming me into the back of the Renault…….this wasnt too bad, I had the drivers side wing replaced…..
…..but before I could get it sprayed I was coming round a roundabout approx 3 months later and began to pull up behind a car at the junction which had stopped, as I began to brake my foot slipped off the brake onto the accelerator which sent me screeching into his tow-bar at 20mph…….PAULXR21.BMP is the result!!!!!!!
Me and a mate, stripped the headlight out and the bonnet and a few other pieces and wedged a jack between the front panel and the gearbox and started to push the front out……
After a while we managed to get it good enough to get a light back in and I even managed to get it through its next MOT without any problems!!!!!!!
Amazing!!!!!! Well, amazing luck anyway!!!!!
