Bugatti Veyron
The Bugatti Veyron first appeared in concept car form in 1999 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The supercar was designed by Volkswagen’s Hartmut Warkuss.
The car is named after Pierre Veyron, who was a Le Mans racing driver.
After several years of development, Bugatti have produced one of the most powerful cars in the world. The W16 engine and four turbochargers produce 1001 horsepower, 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds, and speeds of over 250 mph.
